Participants in the TEC Business Administration degree program study organization, strategies, action plans and decision making in the various functional areas of administration, such as accounting, marketing, human resources and finance, while respecting ethics, social responsibility and business visions.

The bachelor’s degree program is taught during daytime hours at the Cartago campus and the regional facilities in San Carlos. The night-time plan is taught at the central facilities and at the San José Academic Center. The curriculum has eight semesters and a total of 137 credits.

Accreditation

The Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is accredited by the National System of Accreditation of Higher Education (Sinaes). It has been accredited and re-accredited with the highest level of distinction granted by this body, for a period of six years (2011-2017).

Graduates of the School of Business Administration have strong knowledge that enables them to formulate strategies and action plans, and to carry out decision making in functional areas of administration.
