    Program rationale

A significant proportion of administrative and managerial tasks in Costa Rican businesses are carried out by persons who do not have academic training in these areas. There is also a great number of professionals in different disciplines who wish to receive training in project management, but do not want to complete lengthy programs of study in this area.

The Program for Technician in Business Management has been created to offer these individuals the possibility of complementing their experience a deeper understanding of modern techniques for project management.

These technicians will have the opportunity and the ability to work in any labor sector as part of project teams, and will be able to apply globally recognized knowledge, tools, techniques and skills in project management.
