The School of Agricultural Engineering creates professionals capable of designing, developing, planning and managing infrastructure and machinery, in order to raise the technological level of agricultural production in all fields, thus contributing to the country’s sustainable and integral development.

To achieve this, it has professionals with extensive experience and specializations in various areas who have generated research, publications, software and technological packages that are now available to our students and the national and international communities.


Using the latest technologies, guided by a constant analysis of the context in which we work, and with the support of highly qualified and constantly updated human resources, we integrate teaching with research and outreach activities to train entrepreneurs in Agricultural Engineering, committed to ethics and the country’s integral development.


The career will be the leader in training agricultural engineers with a licentiate’s degree. In addition, it will be at the forefront of research and outreach projects in the areas of management and conservation of water and soil resources, administration and maintenance of agricultural machinery, and development and adaptation of technologies for production, thereby contributing to the development of society.
